CLARION, Pa. (EYT) – The grand opening of the Democratic Party of Clarion County on Thursday night also welcomed the public to the largest headquarters the party has ever had in the Clarion County.
The 2018 election headquarters is located in the 800 Center at 849 Main Street in space previously used by the Klingensmith Drug Store. It is next to the new Dominos store on the first floor.
“We have more volunteers this year, including a team that helps reach voters through door-to-door visits,” said Party Chairman Joe Billotte. “This space is also here for any of the Democratic candidates to use, and we can assist with support. We also plan to be using this space through the middle of December.”
The Democratic Party of Clarion County rents the new location through local donations.
Conrad Warner, a candidate for State Representative in the 63rd District, and a representative for Susan Boser, candidate for the 15th Congressional District, spoke briefly and were available to answer questions from voters.
The Democratic headquarters will provide voter registration information, absentee ballots, and information on Democratic candidates.
