Clarion County PASR Presents 2018 Enhancement Mini-Grant to C-L Counselor

CLARION, Pa. (EYT) — The Clarion County Chapter of Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees (CCPASR) presented their 2018-2019 Enhancement Mini-Grant Award to the Clarion-Limestone Area Elementary Counselor.

The grant was awarded to Erin Hockenberry for the proposal of “Ruling Our Experiences” (ROX) for C-L’s sixth-grade girls. The program intends to cultivate higher self-esteem and to decrease bullying and incidents of relational aggression. The resources and programs are geared to help middle-school girls to communicate effectively, develop healthy relationships, stay safe online, and plan for their futures.

CCPASR recognizes the important foundation laid by public education and supports public schools in their educational focus and encourage innovative classroom ideas and professional development.
