CLARION, Pa. (EYT) — Winners of the Women’s Healthcare of Clarion and Healthy Beginnings Pediatrics Kiddies Parade held on Wednesday, October 3, have been announced.

“It was great weather for a parade and there was a great turnout as families lined the streets to watch the action,” said Clarion Area Chamber Executive Director Tracy Becker in a release issued Tuesday.

“There were some fantastic floats and beautiful costumes.”

The parade was originally slated for Tuesday; however, inclement weather forced it to be postponed to Wednesday.

It was a hard decision for the judges and the scores were very close. The following are the winners in the float and costume categories.


Best Costume:

1st Place – Jefferson–Clarion Head Start
2nd Place – Hope and Sophia Bradybaugh and Friends
3rd Place – The Griffin Family

Best Float:

1st Place – Jefferson-Clarion Head Start
2nd Place – Hope and Sophia Bradybaugh and Friends
3rd Place – 10.0 Gymnastics

All three of the top floats will be back in the Clarion Hospital Tournament of Leaves Parade this Saturday, October 6, on Main Street in downtown Clarion. The parade steps off at 12:00 p.m.
