HARRISBURG, Pa. (EYT) — With a number of wins and unopposed races, Republican candidates made a strong showing throughout our region on Tuesday.

66th Legislative District
Incumbent State Representative Cris Dush walked to a third term in the Pennsylvania House of Representative representing the 66th District, easily defeating challenger Kerith Strano Taylor.
With 100 percent of the precincts reporting unofficial results show that Dush had received nearly 80 percent (79.52) of the votes with a total of 16,596 votes, while Strano Taylor received 20.32 percent of the votes with a total of 4,241 votes.
The 66th District covers Jefferson County and a part of Indiana County.
60th Legislative District
Incumbent Rep. Jeff Pyle (R) ran unopposed in the 60th District. With all of the precincts reporting unofficial results, Pyle received 100% of the vote with 18,579 votes.
The 60th Legislative District covers the following areas in Armstrong County: Applewold, Bethel Township, Boggs Township, Burrell Township, Cadogan Township, East Franklin Township, Ford City, Ford Cliff, Freeport, Gilpin Township, Kiskiminetas Township, Kittanning, Kittanning Township, Manor Township, Manorville, North Apollo, North Buffalo Township, Rayburn Township, South Bend Township, South Buffalo Township, Valley Township, West Franklin Township, West Kittanning, and Worthington; the following areas in Butler County: Buffalo Township and Winfield Township; and the following areas in Indiana County: Black Lick Township, Conemaugh Township, and Young Township.
62nd Legislative District
Republican challenger Jim Struzzi was elected to replace outgoing state Rep. Dave Reed in Pennsylvania’s 62nd District.
The 62nd Legislative District covers the following areas in Indiana County: Armagh, Armstrong Township, Blairsville, Brush Valley Township, Buffington Township, Burrell Township, Center Township, Cherryhill Township, Clymer, Creekside, East Wheatfield Township, Homer City, Indiana, Pine Township, Shelocta, Washington Township, West Wheatfield Township, and White Township.
With all 69 precincts reporting, Struzzi had 57.5% of the vote with 12,312 votes while Dellafiora had 41.84% of the vote with 8,851 votes.
65th Legislative District
Incumbent Rep. Kathy L Rapp (R) ran unopposed in the 65th District. With all of the precincts reporting unofficial results, Rapp received 100% of the vote with 16,121 votes.
The 65th Legislative District covers all of Warren County, the following areas in Forest County: Green Township, Harmony Township, Hickory Township, Howe Township, Kingsley Township, Tionesta, and Tionesta Township; and the following areas in Crawford County: Athens Township, Bloomfield Township, Centerville, Hydetown, Oil Creek Township, Rome Township, Spartansburg, Sparta Township, Steuben Township, Titusville, Townville, and Troy Township.
75th Legislative District
Incumbent Rep. Matt Gabler (R) ran unopposed in the 75th District. With all of the precincts reporting unofficial results, Gabler received 100% of the vote with 21,485 votes.
The 75th Legislative District covers all of Elk County and the following areas in Clearfield County: Bloom Township, Brady Township, Bradford Township, Covington Township, DuBois, Falls Creek (Clearfield County Portion), Girard Township, Goshen Township, Graham Township, Huston Township, Karthaus Township, Lawrence Township (PART, Precinct Plympton), Pine Township, Sandy Township, Troutville, and Union Township.
