State Police Calls: Camper Crash in Beaver Township, Car Vs. Deer Collision

CLARION CO., Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Camper Crashes in Beaver Township

According to police, around 6:09 p.m. on November 3, a crash occurred on Interstate 80 eastbound at mile marker 56 in Beaver Township.

Police say a 2015 GM Sierra was hauling a camper trailer traveling east on Interstate 80 when the camper trailer came off the fifth wheel in the right lane of travel. The camper then proceeded off the roadway, impacting the right embankment and coming to a final rest.

The driver noticed that he was no longer hauling the camper and turned around to find it along the right embankment.

Bauer’s Truck Repair assisted at the scene by helping the driver put the camper back on the fifth wheel.

No injuries were reported.

Vehicle Strikes Deer in Beaver Township

According to police, around 3:03 a.m. on November 22, 29-year-old Hasan Hamzha, of Chicago, IL, was operating a 2006 Mazda 6, traveling east on Interstate 80 in Beaver Township.

Police say Hamzha was traveling in the right lane when a deer entered the road from the left. Hamzha’s vehicle struck the deer causing disabling damage to the front of the vehicle.

Hamzha was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured.
