Car Slams into Concrete Barrier on I-80 in Beaver Township

BEAVER TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A car struck a concrete barrier along the eastbound lane of I-80 in Beaver Township on Sunday evening.

According to Clarion-based State Police, around 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 9, 59-year-old Terry S. Kiyasu, of Willow Creek, Ca., was driving a 2018 Chevrolet Malibu, traveling east on Interstate 80 in Beaver Township, Clarion County.

Kiyasu was traveling in the left eastbound lane near mile marker 58.2 when his vehicle struck a concrete barrier on the left side of the roadway with the front left corner of his vehicle.

The vehicle then came to a final rest facing east on the northern shoulder of the roadway.

Kiyasu was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured.

He was charged with a traffic violation.
