Emlenton Man Sentenced to Probation for Indecent Assault of Juvenile

INDIANA CO., Pa. (EYT) – An Emlenton man was sentenced on Friday regarding an indecent assault of a juvenile in Indiana County.

According to court documents, on Friday, December 21, in the Indiana County Court of Common Pleas, Judge Thomas M. Bianco sentenced 56-year-old Kadmiel Robert Crawford, of Emlenton, to two years of probation.

Crawford was also ordered to pay a fine in the amount of $500.00.

He will be required to register as a Tier 1 sex offender under Pennsylvania Megan’s Law statute. Tier 1 sex offenders are required to remain registered for a 15-year period.

According tocourt documents, as of December 21, no determination has been made as to whether Crawford is or is not a sexually violent predator.

Crawford pleaded guilty on August 27 to one second-degree misdemeanor count of indecent assault of a person less than 13 years of age.

The charge stemmed from an incident that occurred on or around October 1, 2017.
