5c32a466945e9Mildred Botta, 88, of Franklin, formerly of Fort Lauderdale, died Friday, January 4, 2019 at UPMC Northwest, following a period of declining health.

Born on January 18, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Paula Druckman.

Raised in the Bronx, she attended school for cosmotology and worked as a cosmotologist until her marriage to Anthony J. Botta on November 15, 1953.

Together they raised two daughters, Jeannine Botta Guth of Oil City and Christine Botta(Jeffery Starkey)of Stratford CT.

Also surviving are five grandchildren: Rachel Flannery (Mark), Elizabeth Guth (David Wright), Katherine Previch-Liu (Kawika), Anthony Starkey, and Sophia Starkey, One great-granddaughter, Collette; and a brother, Martin Druckman (Karen).

In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her husband Anthony J. Botta for whom she was a tireless caregiver.

She will be remembered for her sense of style, talented cooking skills and generous heart.

A private burial service will take place on Monday, January 7, 2019 in Calverton National Cemetery, Long Island, NY.
