State Police Investigating Death of Man in Clarion Township

CLARION TWP., Pa. (EYT) State police are investigating the death of a man that occurred early Saturday morning in Clarion Township.

According to Clarion County Coroner Randall Stom, the incident occurred just outside the Borough of Clarion, in Clarion Township, at a residence along Route 322.

Stom said the man was pronounced deceased at 3:55 a.m. on Saturday, February 16.

Stom told exploreClarion.com, “This is an active investigation, so I am unable to release any other information.”

The deceased has been been identified as a 36-year-old Clarion man.

Clarion-based State Police are investigating the death.

A state police representative said a release is expected to be issued within the next 48 hours, and the case remains under investigation.

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday morning in Erie, Pa., according to Stom.

The name of the man was not released.
