Vehicle Crashes into Tree Along Route 66

PAINT TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Emergency personnel responded to a one-vehicle crash on Tuesday morning on State Route 66 in Paint Township.

Clarion County 9-1-1 said the call came in around 7:43 a.m. on Tuesday, February 19, for a vehicle that struck a tree along State Route 66 near Zacherl’s Farm Market in Paint Township.

Clarion-based State Police, Shippenville-Elk Volunteer Fire Department, and Shippenville-Elk Volunteer Ambulance were dispatched to the scene.

The scene was cleared around 8:28 a.m.

No additional details are available at this time.

Police are expected to release information on the accident within the next 48 hours.
