Deborah Jane Conaway, age 61, of Clarion, passed away on March 14, 2019 at Shippenville Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center following a brief illness.

Deb was born on July 31, 1957 in Medine, New York, the daughter of the late Donald Sturdevant, and Donna (Crowell) Sturdevant who survives.

She was married to William P. Conaway who has preceded her in death.

Deb is survived by her mother, Donna Sturdevant, of Florida; her daughter, Emily Crain, of Clarion; and her grandson, Alexander.

In addition, she is survived by her brother, Don Sturdevant, of Kansas; and her sisters, Danette Plath, of Washington, and Diane Bailey, of Pittsburgh.

Deb was preceded in death by her father and her husband.

Deb worked at Clarion Wal-Mart; she especially enjoyed reading, cooking, and sewing.

Her friends and family were glad to enjoy the things she made.

Arrangements are under the care of the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory in Clarion.

Services will be held at a later date, during the summer, to be announced.
