CLARION, Pa. — Immaculate Conception Parish will present their annual “Purses and Bling… it’s a Girl Thing” event on April 6.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with the event beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception Parish Event Center located at 729 Main Street in Clarion.

The price of tickets is $30.00, and attendees must be 21 years of age. Jamie Simpson from House Rockers DJ will be keeping attendees entertained with music all evening long.

A ticket to the event includes appetizers, a dinner by A La Carte Catering of Emlenton, dessert, and adult beverages.

Individuals will also have a chance at Michael Kors, Coach, and Kate Spade purses; a certificate from ServiceMaster; $100.00 cash; a Roomba 667; a YETI Roadie 20 Cooler; $500.00 cash; a Mariana Jewelry set; and a $1,000.00 Simply Skin package.

There will be numerous vendors set up at the event showcasing different products that can be purchased throughout the night. Also included in the night’s festivities will be 50/50 raffles, side raffles, and a large Chinese auction filled with gift baskets from area donors.

All event proceeds go toward helping Immaculate Conception School with capital improvements to the building. Past projects have included the purchase of all new chairs for the Event Center and school bathroom renovations.

The Purses and Bling event was founded in 2013 by Colleen Faller, Kim Kroh, and Dawn Miller.

Dawn Miller of I.C. School told exploreClarion.com, “Purses and Bling: It’s a Girl Thing, has been such a labor of love for so many of us through the years. It has been our biggest fundraiser to date and has helped with renovations to keep our school beautiful. Jamie Simpson, who has been our emcee since the beginning, always does an excellent job of keeping it fun and moving along.”

“I would like to thank all the wonderful and generous ladies who have come through the years to enjoy an amazing dinner, delicious wine, and fellowship. You have helped us keep our school thriving and blossoming. This school is such a blessing to so many students and parents and the community support is appreciated more than words can express.”

Tickets are required for the event and are available at I.C. School and Parish offices. There will only be 300 tickets sold.
