They are the first Golden Eagles to earn all-conference honors since Sean Edgar in 2017 and Ross Pringle who was a first-team selection in 2012.

Both Sandberg and Faulkner earned bids to the NCAA Regionals for the first time in their careers in 2019, making the field as individual qualifiers. Sandberg finished tied 14th among all individual qualifiers at the event, while Faulkner finished with a share of 17th

Over the course of the full year, Sandberg played 19 rounds and averaged a score of 77.42 strokes. He led the team with two rounds under par this year, including a season-low 70 (-2) in the second round of the Glade Springs Intercollegiate in September and a 71 (-1) at the Hal Hansen Invitational in the fall.

Sandberg had his best finish of the season at the Glade Springs Intercollegiate where he finished three over par in the three-round tournament.

Much like his counterpart Faulkner also competed in 19 rounds of golf finishing with an average score of 77.26 strokes good enough for a team best. Faulkner shot his best rounds of the year at the PSAC championships where he finished with a round one mark of 73 (+2) in late October and a 73 (+2) in the opening round of the Oglebay Resort Intercollegiate in April.

Faulkner had his best at the Hal Hansen Invitational where he shot two rounds of 74 good enough to end the tournament four over par.
