STRATTANVILLE BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) — A Strattanville man who allegedly entered a woman’s home after being told he was not permitted inside waived his preliminary hearing in court on Tuesday.

Court documents indicate the following charges against 32-year-old Ricky Glenn Wright, were waived for court on Tuesday, June 11:

– Criminal Trespass — Enter Structure, Felony 3
– Harassment — Comm. Repeatedly in Another Manner, Summary

The charges have been transferred to the Clarion County Court of Common Pleas.

Wright is free on a surety posted by a professional bondsman.

The charges stem from an incident that occurred in Strattanville on Tuesday.

According to a criminal complaint, around 6:56 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, Trooper Reilly, of the Clarion-based State Police, was dispatched to a residence on Ridge Avenue in Strattanville for a report of a trespass.

According to the complaint, the known victim reported that around 7:30 a.m., Ricky Glenn Wright entered her residence without permission. She said Wright knocked and she didn’t answer the door, but then Wright pushed the door open and entered the residence. The victim stated she told Wright to leave multiple times, but he refused.

The victim reported that when she went to contact police and Wright left, the complaint states.

The complaint notes the victim related that Wright has continued to contact her on multiple occasions at all hours, causing her fear. She said that he also entered her residence around 2:00 a.m. on May 27, through her son’s window, after being advised multiple times that he is not allowed at the residence.

Wright was arraigned in front of Magisterial District Judge Amy Long Turk at 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, on the following charges:

– Criminal Trespass — Enter Structure, Felony 3
– Harassment — Comm. Repeatedly in Another Manner, Summary

Unable to post $5,000.00 monetary bail, he was lodged in the Clarion County Jail. He was released on Wednesday, June 5, on a surety bond posted by a professional bondsman.
