DuBois Dream Left Out of TBT but Thank Fans for Their Support

DuBois DreamDUBOIS, Pa. (EYT) — The DuBois Dream’s quest for a fourth straight appearance in The Basketball Tournament came up a little short when the tournament field was announced this week sans the Dream.

“We are disappointed we were not selected in the field of 64 this year in The Basketball Tournament,” a post on the Dream’s Facebook page said. “But we appreciate all the fan support and for the opportunity the TBT gave us to start and build our organization since 2016. Best of luck to all teams competing and just know bigger and better things are coming for the Dream!”

After being voted into TBT in 2016, the Dream took the opportunity and became a semipro basketball team playing in the NABL. The team has qualified for the NABL playoffs, which will take place next week.
