State Police Calls: Investigation Opened After Drugs Given to Two Young Girls

FOREST CO., Pa. (EYT) — Area State Police responded to the following calls:

Corruption of Minors in Tionesta Borough

Marienville-based State Police received a report of individuals supplying a controlled substance to two known minors, a 13-year-old Tionesta girl and a 14-year-old Tionesta girl, between Wednesday, June 5 and Saturday, June 8, at a location on May Street.

Police say interviews are being conducted and the investigation is ongoing.

Harassment in Tionesta Borough

According to police, around 11:05 p.m. on Tuesday, June 18, 42-year-old Jonathan Edward Borowski, of Tionesta, struck a known 18-year-old Tionesta man on the left cheek once with a closed fist and twice with an open hand.

The incident occurred along Elm Street in Tionesta Borough.

Police say Borowski is being cited for harassment.
