Vehicle Crashes into Tree in Strattanville Borough

STRATTANVILLE BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) — A one-vehicle crash occurred on State Route 322 in Strattanville Borough on Thursday night.

According to Clarion-based State Police, 30-year-old Nathan A. Crouch, of Franklin, was traveling east on Route 322 (Main Street) and attempted to make a left hand turn onto Perry Street, in Strattanville Borough, Clarion County, around 6:13 p.m. on Thursday, July 25.

Crouch failed to negotiate the turn, and subsequently, his 2002 Dodge Caravan struck a tree off the right side of the roadway.

Neither Crouch nor his passengers suffered any injuries.

His passengers included 25-year-old Amanda M. Taylor, of Clarion, and three minor passengers of Clarion — a seven-year-old female, a four-year-old male, and a one-year-old female — and two minor passengers of Franklin — a two-year-old female and a female infant.

Crouch was using a seat belt.

Taylor was not using a seat belt, and three other safety belt violations were observed.

Crouch was charged with a traffic violation.

Clarion Hospital EMS assisted at the scene.
