Thief Breaks Open Drawer, Steals Cash from Local Fire Department

TIONESTA BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) — A State Police investigation is underway after cash was stolen from Tionesta Volunteer Fire Department.

On Thursday, August 1, Marienville-based State Police were contacted regarding a theft that had occurred at the Tionesta Volunteer Fire Department.

According to police, an unknown individual broke open a locked drawer on an office desk and took approximately $100.00 cash.
