Police: Man Arrested After Jumping on Vehicles in Monroe Township

MONROE TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Police say a St. Marys man was arrested following a bizarre incident in Monroe Township on Monday.

Around 11:45 a.m. on Monday, August 12, Clarion-based State Police responded to a report of a man along State Route 68 at the intersection with Perkins Road in Monroe Township who was “acting erratically” and confronting the drivers of vehicles in traffic.

The man, identified as 33-year-old Justin Edward Greene, of St. Marys, was reportedly seen jumping on vehicles and in the drainage along State Route 68.

According to police, when Greene was met by Clarion-based State Police, he resisted being taken into custody and was finally successfully detained after the deployment of a Conducted Electrical Weapon (taser).
