State Police Calls: Burglary, Harassment, Criminal Trespass

CLARION CO., Pa. (EYT) – State police responded to the following calls:

Burglary in Beaver Township

According to police, sometime between September 5 and September 9, an unknown individual forced entry into a camp belonging to an 83-year-old man and an 81-year-old woman, of Knox, causing an estimated $20.00 damage to the door lock.

Once inside the camp, the individual removed a TenPoint crossbow, valued at $750.00, and then fled the scene undetected.

Harassment in Strattanville

Clarion-based State Police are currently investigating a report of harassment of a known 16-year-old Strattanville female by her alleged step-father that occurred in Strattanville Borough on September 9.

Police say the case was referred by Clarion County Children and Youth Services (CYS) for further investigation.

The investigation is ongoing.

Criminal Trespass in Emlenton Borough

Franklin-based State Police say around 1:16 a.m. on September 12, a known 26-year-old Emlenton man reported that an unknown individual unlocked both locks on the front door of his residence on 7th Street in Emlenton Borough.

The victim related that he saw something on his back porch, but police say no evidence was observed at the scene validating the claims.
