Walter L. Daman Jr.
Born February 23, 1936, in Oil City, he was the son of the late Walter L. and Florence Gaynor Daman.
Walt was an Oil City High School graduate.
After a term in the US Army, he went on to eventually become a loan officer for Northwest Bank.
He was a member of St. Stephen Church.
Walt loved fishing, the Steelers, music and singing. He sang in the church choir for many years.
Surviving are five children, Chris Daman, Mary McFarland, Mark (Lisa) Daman, Sean Daman, and Patrick (Dawn) Daman, all of Oil City. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Walt is preceded in death by a sister and her husband, Hazel and Chuck Allio.
Friends and family may call at the Morrison Funeral Home for visitation on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with funeral services following at the funeral home at 7:00 p.m. with the Rev. John Miller officiating.
Interment will be in Grove Hill Cemetery.
