PAINT TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Police say a local woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred late Thursday morning in Paint Township.

According to Clarion-based State Police, around 11:20 a.m. on Thursday, October 10, 34-year-old Jaime L. Beer, of Franklin, was driving a 2011 Chevrolet Traverse, traveling east on U.S. 322 just prior to its intersection with Woodland Road in Paint Township, Clarion County.

Police say Beer failed to notice a 2015 Jeep Wrangler, operated by 42-year-old Joseph L. Dolmovich, of Shippenville, stopped in the roadway and struck the Jeep from behind.

Following the initial impact, both vehicles moved off to the southern berm of the road.

Beer suffered suspected minor injuries and was transported to Clarion Hospital by Shippenville-Elk Volunteer Ambulance Service.

Dolmovich was not injured.

Both drivers were using seat belts.
