JACKSON TWP. Pa. (EYT) — An investigation is underway after an 11-year-old girl was allegedly raped in Jackson Township, Venango County.
According to a release issued by Franklin-based State Police Trooper Haun, the incident(s) happened at a known location in Jackson Township between September 1 and September 27.
The victim is listed as an 11-year-old Cooperstown girl.
“The known details of this investigation will not be released due to the victim’s age,” said Haun in the release.
Haun said the suspect is a known male. His name is not being released at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
