Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk Registration Announced

23622149_1887631637933007_5134597337746214235_nOIL CITY, Pa. – Get out your turkey hats, turkey costumes, and gear. There is nothing like the fun you’ll have at the annual Oil City YMCA Turkey Trot 5K! 

2019 registration is underway for runners and walkers.

The event will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2019, at the Samuel Justus Recreation Trail, just off West First Street in Oil City.

Participants can run or walk. The race course begins at the Oil City end of the bike trail. All participants will run 1.5 miles toward Franklin and turn to finish at the original start line.

Participants that pre-register by November 5 will pay $20.00 and are guaranteed a long-sleeved Turkey Trot t-shirt.  Those registering after November 5 will pay $25.00.

Registration will be held at 8:00 a.m. the morning of the race.

The races will begin at 9:00 a.m. with walkers. Runners will follow at 9:05 a.m. Medals will be awarded to the top three men and top three women in each category.

Hours

The Oil City YMCA fall hours are Monday through Friday 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturdays 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and closed on Sundays.
