The event, which runs from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., is open to kids and adults of all ages.

It will feature representatives from providers of different services in Clarion County including the Center for Community Resources, Next Step Pregnancy, UPMC for You, Jefferson/Clarion Head Start Family Literacy Program, Armstrong, Clarion, Indiana Drug and Alcohol Commission, Clarion County Human Service/Shelter Task Force, and Clarion County Mental Health.

Those organizations will all be decorating trunks where guests will be able to get their candy, and if people visit all of the trunks, they will be entered to win tickets from Living Treasurers “Wild” Animal Park and the Pittsburgh Zoo.

“The providers will decorate the trunks in different themes,” Stephanie Seidle-Weaver, Public Relations Manager from Roads to Recovery of Clarion County told exploreClarion.

“The providers will also have information tables set up where people can get information about what they do.”

People are encouraged to dress up in Halloween costumes, although Seidle said that it isn’t necessary to participate in the event.

“We are trying to spread awareness of the providers available within Clarion County, as well as have a safe place for kids to go,” Seidle-Weaver added.

In addition to the candy and ticket giveaways, there will also be live music from Jeremy Earnhardt as well as treat bags and games.
