Dems Tout Support for Working Families at Annual Fall Dinner

CLARION, Pa. (EYT) – Amanda Green-Hawkins, a candidate for the Pennsylvania Superior Court Judge, was the keynote speaker for the Fall Dinner of the Democratic Party of Clarion County held at the Clarion American Legion.

Green-Hawkins joined candidates for Clarion County Commissioner Ed Heasley and Braxton White, Clarion County Auditor Pam Zahoran, and Clarion Mayor Bill Miller in speaking to the crowd and outlining their qualifications for office.

Along with Daniel McCafferty are the two Democratic candidates on the ballot for Pennsylvania Superior Court Judge.

“I have always fought for working families the underprivileged and civil rights for years,” said Amanda. “In one case, I’ve battled a company refusing to pay pensions to nearly 900 employees. I wrote a brief delivered oral arguments that gave the employees a fair chance to arbitrate. Hard-working citizens need their pensions.

“Our Pennsylvania courts deserve a strong voice on the bench, one that brings integrity, experience, and compassion.”
