MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The Golden Eagle track & field team opened up their outdoor season this weekend, kicking things off at the Stan Romanoski Open hosted by West Virginia. Two Golden Eagles hit Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) qualifying marks on Saturday as the team eased into their spring schedule. Senior Shelly Jones ensured she would make one more trip to the outdoor conference championships, placing second overall and first among non-Division I competition in the Shot Put. The Monroeville native sent the shot a distance of 12.45m, placing behind only Duquesne’s Madelyn Moretti in the field of 64 throwers. Jones
